recently received the 4k stick and have no problems with all my streaming channels except for Netflix. Netflix will not load properly and constantly gives UI-800-02 error code. Tried deleting app, reinstalling, factory reset, all other options, nothing works. Netflix works fine on my other roku devices and smart tv's. roku said they would call me back, but no response. anyone else find a solution for this ?

i constantly get error UI-800-02 when i try to start Netflix on my Roku 4k streaming stick. No issues with it running on older roku devices that i have on other televisions. all applications work just fine, except Netflix. Called Samsung, they said it was Netflix, so called them. Netflix said it was Roku and when i called Roku they said that they needed to investigate and would get back to me within 24 hours. Unfortunately no one got back to me.

I've tried that multiple times and Roku support has had me perform perform factory reset, delete the application, reinstall application, turn everything off turn everything back on multiple times, Netflix still shows the same error and support had me provide the internal error codes. They indicated they would respond within 24 hours, but that time has come ne and gone with no resolution or contact.

We appreciate the time and effort you've put into resolving this Netflix issue. Please note that since this issue is specific to Netflix, we suggest contacting their customer support team, Netflix ContactUS, for further assistance and clarification. It's important to know that the majority of content on the Roku platform is provided and managed independently by the streaming channels' providers.

I contacted netflix, who told me to call Roku as the problem only occurs on the Roku ultra 4k stick. I provided the error codes to Roku support, but no one has followed up. Passing the buck back to Netflix doesn't help. I called Netflix who had me call samsung, samsung had me call roku, initially, roku had me call netflix who in turn told me to call roku. roku finally admitted there was a problem with the roku ultra 4k stick but no one is taking 'ownership' of the problem to get it resolved.

Please get someone in roku technical team to review the information provided to roku support and of course, if they need more data, i would be happy to share the entire page that shows all the error data on the roku device.

as a side note, others have had to uninstall/reinstall, or reset their roku device to get it to work with netflix, but none of their resolutions work for me. the fact that they experienced the same errors and after doing the above got their device to work properly demonstrates that the problem is with roku not netflix.

Searching for this error code, D7111-1331, at Netflix Help suggests that I disable any interfering Chrome extensions. In response to that, all extensions were disabled. No change. Anyone else seeing this on your machines?

Just noticed it on the current latest build of Edge Chromium - Version 77.0.235.4, same as @T0RL0C, though it could have been an issue before that. I've also tried disabling and removing all extensions but this doesn't work :(

Whenever i watch a movie on Netflix.com, it glitches and then freezes and i get error code s7361-1253. My software is up to date ( macOS Catalina 10.15.4) i talked to Netflix support and they still have no idea why it happens to me. Never had any problems in the past. It started 3 days ago.

I have a KDL40R550C which suddenly shows Netflix error code tvq-pm-100(5.6.1). No amount of full power downs or factory resets will clear it. Only remaining option seems to be to reload firmware (v8.586) but I cannot force a reload since, obviously, I am up to date.

Have you tried to refresh the apps on your TV? You can do that by going to [Settings] - [System Settings] - [Set-up] - [Network] - [Refresh Internet Content]. (I'd also try the same steps while the TV is connected to a Wi-Fi hot spot just to test the network itself if the first attempt doesn't resolve the issue)

No I haven't and I don't think Sony know what to do - you'll note there's been no fuller reply from them as promised earlier. I think it's a Sony specific software bug - this TV set is just pre-Android. Best hope is that they fix it in the next firmware update. Short term workaround is to connect my Windows laptop to the TV screen, shouldn't have to but that's modern technology I'm afraid.

Thank you, batee5. I was hoping for that. When I was last at the property on 4 May the TV was running 8.586 so when I get back there in August (it's a holiday home) I will manually upgrade it (as I deliberately switched auto update off). Even if the new release does not permanently fix that particular Netflix issue (and, to date, nobody in Netflix or Sony has defined it) at least it should flush out the current bug.

I've tried everything, however can't fix the issue with Netflix. Every title I play, I'm getting the error message "We're having trouble playing this title at the moment. Please try again later or select a different title".

While it has its ups and downs, Netflix will always have a special place in our hearts. From its preservation of beloved movies and TV shows to its compelling original content, the streaming service is still kicking after all these years. But even polished, streamlined applications have hiccups here and there, and Netflix has its fair share of common errors. These bugs, for the most part, have simple solutions with fairly minimal required effort from the user.

Here's AP's roundup of methods for remedying the common error codes of the Netflix app, covering smart TVs, iOS devices, and the best cheap Android tablets. Read on so you can get back to watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S for the millionth time.

This error code can appear upon startup, accompanied by a message that prevents you from using the app. This is a common glitch with smart TVs that have the Netflix app installed. Try these methods if you're having trouble.

You'll encounter the message after selecting a particular title that won't play. It can result from a poor Wi-Fi signal or corrupted data that needs to be refreshed. Try one of the following options to troubleshoot.

This is a common error message, especially these days with unpredictable Netflix terms of service. Users receive this message if a payment does not go through from their account. This may be caused by the bank or financial institution not approving the transaction, the payment method no longer being valid, or the credit card information listed on the app being incorrect.

This one is unique to Apple and iOS devices. The error message appears while you're watching something, preventing you from continuing. This can be caused by a connection issue, an excess of benign corrupted data obstructing the app, or the use of an outdated version of the app. Either way, this error's countermeasures are straightforward. One of the following solutions should fix the problem.

This error can occur while using the Netflix app on Android devices, popping up at random when you watch any of the app's titles. It's caused by the device needing to refresh itself. Try out these fixes.

Errors can be a little panic-inducing, making us feel like we've done something wrong or broken the system somehow. But it's important to remember that most errors on Netflix are nobody's fault and easily fixable. Coordinating diverse programming that shifts in availability depending on the region of the user provides an amazing viewing experience, but that many moving parts are going to hit turbulence sometimes, even on Androids' most reasonable phones. Take back control of your favorite streaming service and enjoy the content you love.

Good afternoon folks I can't watch Netflix on my Firefox browser. Do you know why is there a plug-in what is missing or something? He says the version is not up to date While my Firefox is always up to date, can you help me further. Thanks in advance from Trimmy.

Neither Netflix nor Disney+ work after this latest Firefox upgrade. (And I have read on other chats that Hulu and others are also not working, getting error codes when the previous version of Firefox worked fine.) There is clearly an issue with this upgrade to accommodate the new Mac M1 chip. However, if you do not have this latest Mac processor, something has gone wrong in connecting with streaming services for those of us on the previous generation Macs.

I have the same problem. I have found references to loading Rosetta. this is not the language learning program but some sort of patch for programs that were written for the intel version of the mac which is now running the new Apple chip. However, without a specific window coming up asking you to load rosetta and a button to push to do so there is no easy way to do this. I have found a reference to running scripts in a command window but this is not for the standard user. I have seen this issue with the Firefox browser but it is not apparently an issue with the Safari browser. No surprise that Safari is an Apple product.

Hey Everyone it is sweet of you that you try to help me. But I have a Windows 10 Laptop From Acer, so the Apple computer help isn't much use. Because don't have an Apple computer. I want to help me and also thank you very much for your tips.
