Hello everyone,

It has been too long since I emailed this list to update on our progress, and for that I am sorry.  Here are some updates:

Our schedule for the spring lecture / stargazing series is posted on our website (attached).  We have 6 more events planned through June, with one this Friday night.

Similarly, our schedule for the spring Astronomy on Tap series is now available (attached).  We actually have an event TONIGHT (Monday, February 25), which will be entirely in Spanish.  We are hoping to reach new audiences by continuing to experiment with our events, like this foreign-language event.

All of our past lectures (and panel Q&A sessions) are recorded and now available both on our website as well as on YouTube.  I encourage you to check them out, as there are some great talks we have had over the last three years.  We additionally have photographs of all previous events, again linked from our website.

Lastly, there will be a free lecture this Wednesday (February 27) at Caltech given by Nobel Laureate and Astronomy Professor Kip Thorne, covering the science that led to the award-winning detection of gravitational waves by LIGO in 2015.  This is a Caltech-wide event and will be hosted in the Beckman Auditorium, not Cahill Astronomy Building.

Thanks for the interest in science education!
