Subject: [RUSA] PBP Prep online seminar planned for first timers is being planned

Hi all,

We are organizing an online seminar aimed at informing first time PBP aspirants on what to expect. We are hoping to run this event just after the ACP announces the 2027 route, and that announcement is expected to come in October.

We have a line up of people ready to present on various topics. The topics though will largely be determined by those *you'd* like to see covered that will help you as a first time PBP participant in your planning and preparation for this.

Look for the exact date to be published here as soon as that details is locked down.

Thanks to all that took the time to fill out the survey oh so long ago. There were a variety of good and relevant questions asked. In trying to put together a panel to all present during a single online seminar, we realized that synchronizing multiple schedules was difficult bordering on impossible. The design has shifted to one where we are recording individual discussions on one or two topics with the intent to publish those on youtube. We've already recorded two sessions which will be packaged for publication and there are more sessions planned for recording this week. Each one is likely to be 20-30 minutes long, which will allow for more exploration of a given topic than a single combined session with 5 or 6 presentations would.

The order of publication has yet to be fully worked out, but it is very likely that the first recording published will be on what to consider and what to do in 2026, the year before PBP and with luck that will get published later this week.

Thanks for your patience.

Sorry everyone, the scheduling setting on the video didn't work so hopefully I've overridden that and the video is now public.

Thanks for your patience. Working on video #2 today.
