Hello Riders,
The 3CR page has been updated with the route details. You’ll find RWGPS files for the entire route and each of the three days. Hopefully this will let you plan your pacing strategy and see where the major climbs lie.
Also, a reminder that 3CR entry is predicated upon a successful 400k or longer brevet or permanent this year before the event. Our SCR 400k is approaching on April 25 and you can preview some of the route, or the SFR 400k is this coming weekend, and the San
Diego and Davis events are on April 18, and of course other clubs around the nation will have them too.
When you have completed your 400k ride, please email us and we’ll finalize your entry.
If any calendared 400k (or longer) brevet dates don’t work for you, a permanent version of the SCR 400k route is also available. (It is best done on the weekend since weekday traffic will be somewhat worse getting through the Santa Cruz/Aptos area.) You’ll
find that on the RUSA Permanents section.
And finally, whether or not you are entered yet, you might consider making your hotel reservations. They can always be cancelled if you decide not to ride, but late May will be busy and finding lodgings in King City and SLO might be iffy, especially at the
bag drop hotels.
Bonne route!
