2025 Santa Cruz Randonneurs brevets

Greetings, Randonneurs,

The 2025 SCR season is about to get underway. Hopefully you can join us for a brevet along the central coast of California.

Saturday, March 1 – Lobitos Creek 200k brevet – a challenging ride in the coastal hills and redwood forests that lie between Santa Cruz and Half Moon Bay. This route is becoming many riders’ new favorite SCR 200k route. 13.5-hr time limit. Santa Cruz start/finish.

Saturday, March 22 – HMB-Marina 300k brevet – an extension of our 200k, this ride travels south around the Monterey Bay shoreline to Marina. 20-hr time limit. Santa Cruz start/finish.

 Saturday, April 12 – La Voie Berg 300k brevet – A challenging loop of the beautiful Big Sur coastline, Salinas Valley farmland, and Carmel Valley. 20-hr time limit. Carmel start/finish.  Note: this event will depend on the Regent’s slide on Hwy 1 being cleared before spring. We’ll keep you posted.

Saturday, May 10 – San Gregorio-Greenfield 400k brevet – a long ride that will explore the greater Monterey Bay region and Salinas Valley. 27-hr time limit. Santa Cruz start/finish.

 Sunday, September 7 – La Gloria gravel 200k brevet – 13.5-hr time limit. Seaside start/finish. 

 Saturday, September 20 – Aromitos gravel 300k brevet – 20-hr time limit. Carmel start/finish.

 As always, participants must be members of RUSA, and entries close the Wednesday evening before the event. More info, RWGPS tracks, and registration can be found at: santacruzrandonneurs.org
