Hello Robotics Club!

If any of you have an interest in the medical-robotics field, this new club below might be of interest to you. Here is the message they have asked me to send out (if you haven't heard from them already):

Attention Cal Poly Student:

There is a new type of club being formed on campus which promotes an interdisciplinary approach to medical device product development. The club is being called "Medical Design."

We are looking for driven, self-starter types interested in getting products to market. We will have many open positions for you to contribute including, but not limited to: biological research, grant proposal writing, marketing, mechanical engineering, business development, machining, electrical engineering, corporate contact, fundraising, website development, app development, project management, and graphic design. 

If you want to apply the skills you have been learning in your classes and/or want to  learn new skills you may not have otherwise had the opportunity to learn, please come to the ATL (007-02) next Wednesday, May 9th, from 11-12. This meeting will sum up what we discussed at our last interest meeting, provide outlook on how you can get involved in the near future, as well as lay down some goals for next fall. 

Also, if you would like to be put in the running for a position with the club, please bring a resume with you to the meeting.

Note: Our tentative schedule for next fall is to have a general meeting each week from 11-12 every Tuesday. As you plan your class schedule, please keep your involvement with this club in mind.
