Welcome back to school everyone! Here are some updates.
All in-person project work is on hold until further notice. We will be sending out more information on hopeful virtual project work in the next few weeks. Please read on for some exciting virtual events we have planned for this quarter.
Standup Meeting
Just as we did last quarter (Spring 2020), we will be holding a twice weekly stand up meeting where anyone can join and share what they are up to.These informal meetings help everyone participating in the club get to know each other. Anyone can drop into the meeting between 9:50 and 10:10 every Monday and Thursday. Join the #standup channel in our slack workspace calpolyroboticsclub.slack.com using your cal poly email to be notified with the meeting link each morning.
Audio Engineering Society Workshop
The AES (Audio Engineering Society) at Cal Poly is hosting a series of workshops on how to build a MIDI note Generator with a microcontroller. This should be a great event since it plans to be a good introduction to microcontrollers and the tools that they offer such as timers and general I/O. Visit their website to get more info and sign up.

Internship Panel
Some of your fellow club members had awesome summer intern experiences that they want to share with you. Internships are a vital part of your college experience and are one of the best ways to gain relevant technical skills and help you to graduate with a full-time offer. Come hear about the cool projects your friends worked on and how you can do the same. This Panel will take place on Friday, October 2 at 5PM PST. Keep your eye out for more updates as we wait for more information from the school.
