CalorieQuick version 0.1.13 is now available as an update on Android
Market. It provides the upgrade features described below. For a
complete version history, visit http://www.caloriequick.com/versions.
Important: As the beta test will be complete on August 31, the beta
version will cease to work on September 1. If you wish to continue to
use CalorieQuick, you have two options.
First, if you have been an active beta tester (see below), in a day or
so you will receive an email with an "unlock code". Starting today,
August 28, CalorieQuick will warn you about the expiration on
September 1 and will allow you to enter your unlock code. CalorieQuick
will confirm the unlock code with the server and then permanently
unlocks your test version so that it will operate exactly the same as
the paid version. You will continue to get updates at no cost.
Note that unlock codes must be used with the email address to which it
is sent. Further, once an unlock code is used, it cannot be used again
on a different Android phone.
Alternatively, if you do not have an unlock code, you can save your
data and then purchase the paid version, which will be available soon.
Using Android Market, search for "CalorieQuick", not "CalorieQuick
Beta" or "CalorieQuick Demo". When you install the paid version, it
will detect the saved data and allow you to restore it.
The introductory price for CalorieQuick is $4.99.
Even though CalorieQuick will not operate normally starting September
1, it will still allow you to save your data or enter an unlock code.
To be considered an active beta tester, you must have done at least
one of the following:
* Completed the online survey with meaningful answers and entered
your email address.
* Submitted at least one valid bug report and entered your email
address.
* Communicated with the developer directly by email, providing
useful feedback.
