I went to check a video from marseille themselfs to see what is up. the thing was that when they used it is was set to 1920/1080 while mine was set to 720/480 which was weird. I found out about the menu for the gchd and it was set to 480i mode while on youtube video's is was set to 480p which should be better for hdtv's.

so now I went researching (again...) and found out about this thing called SWISS that can force 480p on games and I have no idea what it is or how to use it. is there anyone who could tell me where to get it and how to use it?

I bought one of these on Ebay about a year ago and after much fiddling, managed to get the display functions working using Adafruit libraries (as I think most do, at least to start!)
So I left it in the "bits" box, to cool my temper down......
Today I resurrected the part, and already it has got my blood boiling!!!!

So, I found the issue with my browser. It was an extension. Something like Auto Youtube Quality (because, for some reason, youtube thinks that I wanna watch 480p, even though I pay for premium). Disabled it and all is good in the world.
