This section describes how to add the client ID from the service account credentials to the Google Admin console. These settings allow Google to trust FortiClient EMS, which enables FortiClient EMS to retrieve information from the Google domain.
You can now use a single FortiClient EMS console to manage all FortiClient platforms, including Chromebooks. All FortiClient endpoints can be managed from a single FortiClient EMS installation. Previously, a separate FortiClient EMS for Chromebooks install was needed to manage Chromebook clients. See Configuring Server settings.
From the management board CLI, you can use the execute system console-server command to access individual FPC consoles. Console access can be useful for troubleshooting. For example, if an FPC does not boot properly, you can use console access to view the state of the FPC and enter commands to fix the problem or restart the FPC.
Authenticate to log in to the console and use CLI commands to view information, make changes, or restart the FPC. When you are done, use Ctrl-X to exit from the console back to the management board CLI. Using Ctrl-X may not work if you are accessing the CLI console from the GUI. Instead you may need to log out of the GUI and then log in again.
Also, from the management board CLI you can use the execute system console-server showline command to list any active console server sessions. Only one console session can be active for each FPC, so before you connect to an FPC console, you can use the following command to verify whether or not there is an active console session. The following command output shows an active console session with the FPC in slot 4:
I need to connect my machine to a forticlient getaway but I don't know how to do it via terminal I don't mean the command to open the GUI, but the commands tho connect and disconnect assuming that I already have my vpn connection profiles configurated if it's there any command like:
This module is able to configure a FortiGate or FortiOS (FOS) device by allowing the user to set and modify system feature and console category. Examples include all parameters and values need to be adjusted to datasources before usage. Tested with FOS v6.0.0
To use this feature, you need to onboard to Firewall Manager and assign a security administrator account to manage firewall deployment centrally. Then subscribe to the FortiGate Cloud-Native Firewall offering in the AWS Marketplace. Using the Firewall Manager console or API, you can configure a Firewall Manager security policy to specify the FortiGate CNF policy set, the AWS account(s), and the VPC(s) in which to provision your firewalls. Once configured, Firewall Manager will automatically provision FortiGate CNF and alert you of any changes to the firewalls that are inconsistent with your intended security posture.
The proxy will return a textual prompt, with a list of available authentication devices and lines separated by newline characters. This is most appropriate for console-based integrations, and might not work correctly with web-based logins (e.g. SSL VPN devices). This is the default format.
The proxy will return the same textual prompt as with the "console" option, but replace line breaks with HTML line-break (i.e. '
') tags. This is more likely to work correctly with web-based logins.
Stop and restart the Authentication Proxy service by either clicking the Restart Service button in the Duo Authentication Proxy Manager or the Windows Services console or issuing these commands from an Administrator command prompt:
If the RADIUS challenge response text doesn't display well in your client application you may need to set the optional prompt_format setting for [radius_server_challenge] to a value other than the default of console in your Duo Authentication Proxy's authproxy.cfg file. Be sure to restart the Authentication Proxy service after making the change.

If you have forgotten the administrator password to your Fortigate virtual machine (VM), you can reset it by using the emergency console. This article shows you how to reset the administrator password based on the Fortinet documentation.
Have the credentials ready in a text editor so that you can copy them, but typical pasting does not work with the HTML5 console. If you want to be quick, use a third-party application or script that can type input rather than paste the credentials, such as the following applications:
Due to the amount of output from the show or show full-configuration commands on the global hierarchy, we do not recommend running them over a console connection. It is recommended to run with SSH connection.
