Any ideas? Both are Windows 10 systems. Not sure why the windows drag experience is different between the two environments. I'm a bit rusty on Presentation Server 6.5 but was pretty good back in the day.
tl;dr: When I left-click (and release) on the VMware Workstation 15 main window near its menu, the mouse unexpectedly grabs and drags the window. This doesn't happen in any other application windows on my Ubuntu Linux desktop (KDE/Plasma). Fixable?
So I started to look for solutions. One of them can be viewed here -disable-numlock-windows-startup. I tried disabling it via registry, disabling Num Lock on boot via BIOS setting. There is no known setting in virtual machine configuration file - vmx, that can disable this behaviour.
After installing CoreDirector, you simply add the executable name or pattern, in our case for VMware Workstation it is vmware.exe and that is supposed to ensure these applications do not use the E-Cores.
