Of course, after a couple of hours I realized I made some newbie mistakes that are fatal to my future success. I wanted to restart, but it seems the only way to do so is to reset the device which I really would like to avoid.
At first, you must log out from your existing game center account "Before" you wipe all of your data. After you do that, you install the game and after you install it, play it. After you do all of that, you will be noticed to sign in to your game center id. You just use your game center id without having a new GC id. After you sign in, you will be noticed again with another pop up saying do you want to reload your village at town hall level "X"? If you want to totally reset your village, just tap the no button. And if you want to reload it, just tap yes :) simple, right? And 1 more thing... don't use backed up data if you are still in the "New user" page, you must get it back "AFTER" your device already passes through the new setting ("New user" page) of your new device. (Back it up after you install clash of clans)
Some of the advice here doesn't work. You can't just delete the app and remove it from game center because once you re-install the game, it will still bring back your old game. This is because it's within your system file that appears to be saved in the ipad. Jailbroken device may have something that allows you to delete the files completely.
When you do a factory restore, Do NOT restore from back up as it will bring up your old game, so you have to set it up as a new device. This is the only option. Yes it is annoying, as some of you don't want to lose everything. But if you want to start over, then you have to sacrifice one thing or the other.
All placed structures can be moved at any time by long-pressing them and dragging them to a new position and there aren't really any game breaking decisions you can take. As long as you have resource buildings up and running (which you will do) then you can always make progress.
If you want to erase your entire map that is possible too from town hall level 4. Tap the "village edit mode" button (hand with arrows in both directions*) and then click "remove all". This resets your village back to a plain field but puts all your buildings into inventory so you can replace them in a new layout easily whilst not having to go through upgrading them all again.
Play for a while then sign in to your new gamecenter account and you now have TWO games saved in TWO gamecenter accounts and you can switch back and forth between them, however beware that things can go wrong.
You have to restore your device unless you want to jailbreak your device, which is much more laborious and troublesome. I put together a guide last year and you'll have a new village with your phone and all your media just as it was before in less than twenty minutes. You can see it here -to-restart-your-clash-of-clans.html
Under Game Center, we logged in and out and made sure it my husbands Apple ID., which brought up his game centre profile automatically. When we went back to clash of clans, it asked for confirmation (must be in capitals) that we wanted to replace the base with his named base, which worked for us .... hope that helps
I find this unacceptable that they can't move data from one Game Center to another. I have the exact same problem. And once you have connected a game account to a Game Center you can't move it which ***** so much. I am trying to transfer my Clash Royale account to a different account but it just does not work. Every time I launch the app it pops up with a notification that asks if I want to change accounts. This is a problem that apple needs to fix asap!!!!! It is ruining the experience for me and probably for many more like me with this problem.
last 5 or 6 month i started playing clash of clan and i sell my phone a unknown person but i forget to remove my game center account now other device playing my game and i lost so many trophy and other ..... now i want to unlink my game all device can you help me
You actually can transfer your Clash Royale (CR) from one Game Center to another, I've done it myself. What you need to do is go into CR, tap the gear icon, than tap help and support. You might see an option to "contact us." If you do not see that "contact us" button, follow these steps: Tap a support article, then look for an option asking If the article was helpful, then tap "no", then tap contact us (which appears after you tap no). You will be given a chat interface to talk to supercell.
ddont do it anymore, so you're better off upgrading the base, you can get a steady income of gold, chance of legies, power kits, cheaper rare item production, that's if you need it, the base's advantages are numerous, while the silver boxes have no advantages whatsoever
It takes alot of gold and takes forever to upgrade so yea unless u wanna play 24 hours a day just to get enough gold and upgrade your base all the way its gonna take 6-10 months which is boring unless u buy tokens to upgrade-_-
fr would better if you keep the base active. i also regret disabling my base. maybe you can get the items instantly with silver box. base have guaranteed power kit card in lv.15 factory base and chance of legy card in lv.20 factory base. but crafting them needs to wait some times, then i just think twice before disabling it. also base have gold mines, which gives a bit gold bonus. based on my experience, of course.
huh, so you're the type of impatient guy... for me imma just stuck in certain levels of base. if im changing my mind, i can upgrade the base slowly. if you know, or even playing clash of clans, just pretend that you're playing that game.
Bruv I only play in the afternoons every 2 or so days and I got my base to lvl 13 in 4 months if I get bored I play some other game. What you are saying is complete nonsense, do some research before you type.
When Clash of Clans first opened on my iPad, there was a notification about In App Purchases in the app. The notification suggested that preferences can be adjusted in Settings to turn off IAP. I was thankful for this reminder, and I adjusted my settings immediately before proceeding into game play.
Beware of the Chat Room. Within a few weeks of having this game my 11 yr old allowed someone to join the chat, a person she thought was a friend. That person was soon cursing and asking offensive and inappropriate questions about her body. Then that person asked where she lived. I would not endorse this game.
Excellent post! We are a clash family also and often sit on the couch with our devices comparing notes lol. I have created a clan for my family because there are too many inappropriate characters out there. I make sure everyone in our clan is nice, respectful and does not use bad language. So far we have a really nice team of people. Adults, teens and kids who appreciate a clan with nice people ?
I too decided to take an active interest in my sons clash of clans but was completely horrified to find my sons friends using disgusting language , abusing and bullying each other. While you can report people in global chat it does not appear you can do so in clan chat. I was so disturbed I made it my mission to let all their parents know how shocking it was as many are completely unaware of what their children were doing. I also brought it up with their school principal so a warning could be published in the school newsletter as the bullying was out of control.
If you allow your child to download it I think it is wise to closely monitor it.
Wow, these are some great posts, Me and my son often play this game too, hes the stratergist and im the upgrader and mine and pump collector! We often have some fun times with this game, but as all the others have said, the global can be a nasty place. So we tend to stay away from clans and global and just enjoy the game together ?
Thanks so much for this post and all the great comments! My son wants to download this game. After a mishap I had with our teenage daughter and an app, I am really, really researching any apps and games my younger son wants. These were all really helpful!! I think I will even play the game with him!
Great informative website. Clash of clans is a great game. The chat is optional and if you do chat,
you can change the mode of chat to clan which is you only see chat from the people in your clan, or global.
