Subject: Pre-Cal Day Cleanup Reminders - Bring Your Liability Waivers
Hey all,This email should include all the information you will need for Friday.1. Liability WaiversAttached is a liability waiver that the city requires everyone to sign if they wish to participate in the event. Please bring the signed liability waivers to the event - this will save all of us a lot of time.2. Shift TimePlease show up to your assigned shift time. My hope is that by having two different shifts we will be able to diminish your wait time and get you started much faster. On that note, please remember to bring your tools back at the end of your shift.3. LocationThis year the starting/ending location will be Kroeber fountain. We will collect liability waivers, check in your chapter and give you your materials at this location.4. ClothingWear your letters! This is great PR for your individual chapters as well as the Greek community as a whole. None of the work is incredibly labor intensive, but those of you doing Graffiti painting may want to consider wearing clothing you won't mind getting some paint on.5. AssignmentsHere is a google doc with your project/shift assignments:Graffiti: Painting benches, poles, dumpsters, etc that have graffiti on them or need a paint job in general. This is an incredibly independent job in that part of your work will be actually finding the items that need to be painted.Tree Planter Cleanup: it is incredibly similar to litter pick up but you will be focusing on the planters at the base of the trees. Cleanup litter, remove weeds, and make them look as presentable as possible.Litter Pickup: When you check in you will be assigned a section of the community to walk through and pick up as much litter as possible. You can leave the bags on any corner, but make sure they are as full as possible before you move on to another bag.If you have further questions shoot me an email or give me a call,JennyJenny Pilecki
