to CallGuard Beta Testers
Hi Team,
I’ve just released a major update to CallGuard that fixes the call-blocking issues and adds the official Android Spam Protection integration. To help me reach the 14-day testing requirement for the Play Store, please follow the steps below:
1️⃣ Join the Test Track
Please click the link below and select "Become a Tester":

Web Link (Join here first): https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.pranab.callguard

Android Link (Download/Update): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pranab.callguard
2️⃣ Crucial Setup (Mandatory)
For the blocking engine to work on modern Android phones, you must set CallGuard as your default screening app:
1. Open the app after updating to v1.0.4.
2. When prompted, click "Set as Default" in the system popup.
3. (Optional) If you don't see the popup, go to Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Caller ID & Spam app and select CallGuard.

3️⃣ What to Test
  • Prefix Blocking: Add a prefix (like +91140) and see if incoming calls from that range are automatically silenced.
  • Normalization: Check if it correctly blocks numbers even if they have spaces or dashes in your contacts.
  • UI/UX: Let me know if the "Activate Protection" flow is clear.
Important Note

Please keep the app installed for the next 14 days. This is a mandatory requirement from Google to move the app to production.
Thank you for your help! If a call isn't blocked as expected, please send me a screenshot of the number format in your call log.
