When you spawn into the world for the first time, everything will most likely look exactly like a regular minecraft world. If you were to wander off right now, nothing would be different than a standard vanilla playthrough.
Dragon Blocks are based on the Dragon Balls used to call upon Shenron (Dragon Balls) or Porunga (Namekian Dragon Balls). In-game, they have the ability to call upon the dragons in a similar fashion and then grant 1 or 3 out of 10 wishes, from Shenron or Porunga respectively.
To summon Shenron/Porunga, the player must place them in an H formation, with three in two vertical lines and one between them. Then, the player has to right-click the middle Dragon Block, summoning the appropriate dragon whilst the Dragon Blocks immediately vanish.
