Andrew,

If you are using phone books, then unfortunately the only practical way is to download the phonebook into Excel and use Excel's "Find" function to search for the number. Our vision for list workflow has been to maintain your lists as a spreadsheet or database on your computer, and upload or re-upload the list as necessary.

I'm fairly new to CF.  I'm looking for a way to maintain my database online, once it's been uploaded.  A fairly common thing I want to know is, "Is this phone number already in my list?".  So, I can either attempt to delete it or attempt to add.  I just did that, and the record count stayed the same, so it's obviously already in the database.   But, I'd like to see it in a list, like it was in the excel spreadsheet that I originally submitted.   Could be a report, but is that only obtainable by a download?   That's it.  TIA for any help...
