Thispage contains a list of cheats, codes, Easter eggs, tips, and other secrets for Tony Hawk's Underground for PlayStation 2. If you've discovered a cheat you'd like to add to the page, or have a correction, please click EDIT and add it.

Finish the story mode in "NORMAL" difficulty. You will get Gene Simmons from KISS and the "Hotter than Hell" level.

DJ Douglas also adds: In the "Hotter than Hell" level, if you collect the letters K-I-S-S, you will unlock a short video of a KISS concert. Then if you collect them again, KISS will perform a live concert.

In the New Jersey level, go to the train station. Where the rails are at, on the left ramp in the middle column there is an item high above the ramp. Take the rail down to the ramp to get more speed so you can reach the item. (Or, climb on top of the awning which looks like a little white ledge, and walk along it and around the corner.) Get the item to unlock the School 2 level.

Go to Moscow and find the brown building near the tanks. Go around until you see the side where it is connected to X-mas lights. Climb up and grind the ledge toward the big building opposite of the tanks and jump into a window. Inside is the item that unlocks the level.

While playing any difficulty on story mode, you'll notice that it may ask you do a move 5 times in one combo or something as such. Like 'Lipslide 5 times in one combo' raise a stat up a bar for a created character. Now if you're having trouble doing this there's a solution.

When you're ready to earn that point, enter the create-a-trick mode in the middle of the game. (Don't exit Story mode to the Create Trick mode!) Create a basic trick (like a simple flip or grab). Now name your newly created move to the name of the trick that you are trying to mimic. You don't have to map the move to your character permanently, instead enter the preview trick and land the new move 5 times or however times you need.

Example of this: enter create a trick, insert a kickflip, rename the move, enter preview move, and now land the trick as many times as needed in one combo. When you're finished, simply quit edit a trick and you should that after you succesfully landed the trick, you're stats should increase.

On the Hangar level, go to the half pipe on the other side of the wooden one in the middle. The pipe is in a seperate room. Go to the far left corner and skate up and down, olling to get more air. Eventually, you should go so high that you get stuck, and you can spin infinitely. The only way to get down is to hop off your board, and get back down again.

New Jersey - Go to the left side of the bridge; you will see a sidewalk next to the river. Jump down onto it and walk under the bridge.

Manhattan - Go to the Metro Center (the building that is very shiny and made of glass) the tape should be on the sign that says "Welcome".

Tampa - Find the huge building made of windows with two ramps in front of it. Air off one of the ramps (as if you were going to gap between them) and head high between the middle of the ramps.

Hawaii - Climb on top of the Big Surf Hotel and find the side facing the pink hotel. Then go into the corner on the roof next to the quarter pipe and look for a wire. Grind down the wire to the tape.

Vancouver - Find the big bubble thing with flags around it above the hockey rink, then find the quarter pipe next to it. Go out into the street and spine transfer the quarter pipe for speed and then air up to get the tape.

Slam City Jam - Locate the scoreboard in the middle of the stage and the circular platform that goes around it. Grind on the platform and into the bottom of the scoreboard.

Hotter Than Hell - Get onto the inner of two platforms that are high up in the air and head around the platform until there is a part where it starts to rise. Go up that part of the platform and get air to get the tape.

In the Carnival Level of THPS4, there's a way to get into the House of Horrors. Go to the right side of the House of Horrors, into the small alley. Do a move that knocks you into the side. In a few seconds, you should be transported to a small version of the House of Horrors.

In video games, cheat codes are button combinations entered to change the game's behavior, alter a character's looks and abilities, skip levels, or access other hidden features. You're probably nodding your head thinking...Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A Start right now. Well, in the music game, Cheat Codes (Matthew Russell, Trevor Dahl, Kevin Ford) get a leg up (or 9 lives if we're sticking to the Contra code) by cleverly merging together their diverse backgrounds, a myriad of genres that range from electronic to hip to pop, and live instrumentation that ensures nobody sounds quite like them. Together they embody all the best elements of their namesake. Their music will take you to shiny new levels and you'll annoy your friends for finding out about them first.

The only previously documented cheat codes for the game are tightrope, which unlocks the 'Perfect Rail' cheat, and birdman which unlocks THPS1 Tony Hawk as a playable character. However, there are numerous other cheat codes defined within the game's scripts. These cheat code definitions are not defined in plaintext, but instead stored as hashed values using a custom hashing algorithm based in part on iteratively hashing the cheat code using CRC32 100,000 times. Because of this, the cheat codes cannot be trivially determined or decoded. However, through bruteforcing numerous possible cheats, a number of previously undocumented cheat codes have been discovered.

There are a number of General Purpose Input (GPI) dip switches within the hardware development kits used by developers to test, debug, and develop PSP games[1]. The status of each dip switch is checked by calling a kernel function, sceKernelGetGPI(). While these dip switches do not exist within retail PSP units, by modifying the return value of sceKernelGetGPI() to non-zero values, one can pretend that certain dip switches are enabled. The retail version of Tony Hawk's Underground 2: Remix retains calls to this function within its code, and when pretending certain dipswitches are enabled, various debug information is displayed on-screen. Depending on the switches enabled, this can include a bar displaying Graphics and CPU loads, an FPS display, and a breakdown of the specific features that are contributing to those loads.

Code for a debug menu is present within the game's scripts. While not usually accessible to the player, the only check in place to determine whether or not to show the debug menu is a check of a flag in memory indicating whether or not the game is running off of a UMD (for ULUS10014, this flag is at 0x08a651d4). By setting this flag to false before opening the pause menu in game, a new 'Debug Options' entry appears, similar to the original version of the game.

If you're an avid video game player, everybody knows what a cheat code is. The same rules apply to music. A cheat code in hip-hop can be a link-up between two artists in the hopes of soaring straight onto the Billboard charts at unprecedented speeds. For many rappers, the lyrical sauce and loyal fandom surrounding them can open up other artists like rising R&B singer Giveon and even pop princesses like Taylor Swift up to new audiences when they collab with hip-hop's major players.

Travis Scott's "Sicko Mode" reached the Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 spot in 2018 thanks to Travis' star power combined with a Drizzy feature. However, Travis is his own cheat code. Much like the 6 God, a Travis Scott feature is a must-have. And at the rumored cost of his feature being upwards of $250,000, it's pricey. A feature from Cactus Jack can help other artists land on the Billboard charts, earn RIAA certifications and set them up in the rap game.

Young Thug is a pillar in the Atlanta rap community. He's even paid other rappers like Lil Baby to focus on rap. The 29-year-old rapper is a highly coveted feature artist for rappers everywhere. On a global spectrum, there is no chart that a Young Thug features leaves untouched. From singer Camila Cabello's "Havana" to T.I.'s "About the Money," adding Thugger to a track makes it a chart win more times than not.

Young Money star Nicki Minaj also fits the bill. Her verse on Kanye West's "Monster," from his 2010 album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, was the talk of the moment and for years following its release. Nicki killed it. "You could be the king, but watch the queen conquer," was an understatement for this iconic lyricism. Her resume as one of hip-hop's ultimate cheat codes continues to grow as she evolves in the rap game. Yo Gotti's "Rake It Up," 6ix9ine's "Trollz" and "FEFE," A$AP Ferg's "Move Yo Hips" and many more of her features have helped boost artists' status on the charts.

The rap world is no stranger to G.O.A.T.s and rap gods with in-demand features. These artists have distinguished themselves above the rest. Check out the rappers who are certified cheat codes to success on the charts below.

Young Thug is a slam dunk when it comes to features. He is an automatic cheat code to appear on a Billboard chart or earn an RIAA certification. Oddly enough, the rapper's biggest feature is far outside of the hip-hop space. Singer Camila Cabello, formerly of the girl group Fifth Harmony, dropped her hit song "Havana" featuring Thugger in the summer of 2017. In early 2018, it went No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, is now nine-times platinum and earned the rapper his first spotlight performance at the 2019 Grammy Awards ceremony. "Chris Brown's "High End," T.I.'s "About the Money" and Rae Sremmurd's "Throw Sum Mo," among others, have all received a spot on the Hot 100 thanks in part to Thugger's feature.

But, beyond his features and personal catalog of singles like "Pick Up the Phone" and "Hot," Thugger has been the catalyst for several rap careers. Thug has inspired many young rhymers to focus on their music careers. Lil Baby revealed to XXL in the fall of 2019 that Thug paid him to focus on hip-hop after Baby was released from prison. His close mentorship of rappers like Gunna and Lil Keed also proves that the 29-year-old rapper enjoys helping to build legacies that are separate from his own star power.
