Brainstorming Infrastructure Needs

Some good news all: We have received the DEP grant that FRESH New
London applied for on our behalf!

A Big Thanks to Arthur and Emily for all the work they put in o our
behalf even before we were the success we are now. I know that every
time I think about it, I am overwhelmed by how successful this garden
is in less than a year. Yes, some of that came from outside; came
from the resources we were lucky enough to have given to us. The work,
the communal spirit comes from all of you tho. Without gardeners,
those initial 30 beds would have sat alone, growing weeds. So, thank
YOU, for being a part of this garden as well!

This grant is a giant opportunity for us to continue to grow and
become stronger. We can do much with this money to provide a strong
foundation for the future development and growth of Calkins Park
Community Garden. The initial need that this grant money will fill is
that need for a fence around the garden. Beyond that, we can use it to
develop other infrastructure needs at the Garden.

I would like to start brainstorming some Ideas for uses of the
money: What need do you see at the garden that we could use this
money for at the garden?
