This log message is confusing.

So it yields 9 experiments... but this is 1 of 18 experiments? is it 9 or 18?

Turns out the second number is 9 * 2 trials...

so the vocabulary needs to be cleaned up here a bit.

s/experiment/trial/ for that message sounds reasonable to me. Mind filing a bug?
