Farmers Market Opportunity

Are you a new soap maker wanting to get your feet wet & test out the
waters and see what it's like to do a farmer's market with very little
risk involved? We have a great opportunity for you.
Point Richmond hosts a Farmer's Market every Wednesday from 4 - 8pm.
The Farmer's Market runs all the way to October & is a great way to
meet lots of people
We will pay the booth fee, provide the tables & chairs, & some display
elements, and we would like to sell some of our soaps & have our
fliers at the table.
This year we'd really like to be involved, so we're looking for 1 - 3
people who would like to take charge of this event. You can bring your
own products to sell & you would be responsible for picking up the
things at The Nova Studio & bringing it back at the end of the day.
This could either be just one person, or you might be sharing it with
others week to week. We think it would be very cool to have a booth
that changes frequently, so we like the idea of having new people
every week (rotating through 1 - 3). We're willing to do this several
different ways depending on the amount of interest we have.
This provides the opportunity to get to know what it's like to sell at
the farmer's market without having to pay for the booth or get up
early in the morning.
We very much want to have a presence in the community, and we see this
as a good opportunity for us, and potentially for you.

i’m collecting a list of people interested at the moment, and hope to have a meeting about this next wednesday 5/11 (from 4-8) and our first date at the market will be 5/18.
i know you have the conference coming up… so just let me know what dates (in May) you are available to make. even if you have to start later than everyone else – we would love to still have you.
