monday meeting recap

hi everyone,
just wanted to post a wrap-up from the group meeting this past monday night!
me, alana, kendra, jen g., feleciai, and carla had a great evening of prepping holiday gifts and chatting about the HSMG and our holiday plans.
alana brought some of her own things to work on and spent part of the evening packaging soap and preparing body butter labels.
kendra and feleciai worked together to repackage feleciai’s gift baskets so the items inside didn’t shift around when they were moved. after they had the basket perfectly set up, they shrink wrapped it using the nova studio’s new shrinkwrap system. it uses biolefin – a compostable & biodegradable wrap - to keep everything in place and looking great! (p.s. if anyone is interested in purchasing a shrink wrap machine from www.nationalshrinkwrap.com if you call & order it through the nova studio we’ll give you free shipping – a discount of about $25!).
carla and jen didn’t bring any of their own products to work on, so they spent the evening helping me with labeling and shrink wrapping soap so that i could get some gifts ready for my own holiday giving!
everybody brought tasty snacks & drinks and we had a great time visiting with each other and spending a (fairly) relaxing evening getting ready for the hectic holidays.
we missed those of you who couldn’t attend, and we plan on scheduling another meeting sometime in january. we hope to see you then!
