I organize a Skill Sharing Workshop for the City of Albany. We had a soap maker lined up to demonstrate basic cold process soap making for us for this Sunday the 26th at 2 pm, but he cancelled on us. So I'm desperately trying to find someone to fill in. I know it's short notice but I thought I'd ask since you're a local soapmaker. We have a commercial kitchen at the Albany Community Center for you to use. A very simple demo and explanation is all that would be needed. The workshop is only scheduled to go from 2:00 to 3:20, but participants could come back into the kitchen at 5 to see follow-up if needed. Even more of an explanation than a demonstration would be great at this point!
We can't pay you but you'd be welcome to promote your business with flyers or business cards. I think you could even bring some of your soap to sell in a low key way.
