Next Monday Night - Holiday Prep Party

I hope things are going well for everyone and that the holiday's
aren't too stressful so far.
I'm writing because next Monday night (12/13) (and possibly Tuesday
night 12/14 too!) I am inviting you to come to The Nova Studio and get
together, BRING things that you need to work on for holiday gifts
(like presents to wrap, soaps to label, ribbons to tie, soap to
bevel... you get the idea).
If you have nothing of your own to work on, I'll happily put you to
work doing packaging/prep for some of my holiday gifts. You can earn
credit for classes this way ($10/hour barter credit).
WHEN: 12/13 Monday Night, 5-9pm and (if there is enough interest)
12/14 Tuesday Night, 5-9pm

WHAT TO BRING: Your projects to work on and a snack of some sort to
share.
Since I want to make sure we have enough room, I'm asking you to RSVP
to either this google group (via email) or directly to me by phone at:
510-234-5700. Just let us know you are coming, and whether or not you
are bringing your own things to work on or want to help with mine.
The reason for this is simple... I HATE working on holiday gifts
alone. It's depressing. So let's keep in the spirit of the holidays,
and get together, laugh & share stories, and keep each other company
while we are creating these special gifts for our loved ones (or our
customers).

I've got 2 batches of soap that need wrapping, and my husband is not
really interested in soap and packaging chit-chat :P

P.S. Please let me know if you know of anyone looking to hire a human
resources manager. I was laid off in July, which gave me more time to
make soap, but I will need to find a job to pay for more soapy
supplies :)

I know, you think I would have figured out my schedule by now, ha! Next week is totally intense, but I can't miss the party!! I'll be there and you can probably put me to work..there's a bunch o' stuff i need to finish before Monday, so probably won't have much of my own.
I'm no expert in any of those areas, but I can TA at any of the classes if you're still in need.
**totally off-topic, but if anyone can point me to a hairstylist in SF, i will forever be indebted to you. rain+wind+static = me looking like 4th member of Hanson (it's not right and really should be rectified soon)

Glad you can make it! If you still need the hair stylist I can highly recommend Suite 5 off of Post Street. All of them are great, especially Donald Gonzales. Their number is 415.362.5005. I used to work with Don for several years.

For those attending our Holiday meet up tomorrow night at the Nova
Studio, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in 16oz of Lime
eo and 16oz of lemongrass eo. I accidentally purchased both (I
already had these in stock) and i dont want them to go to waste!! The
lime is $20 and the lemongrass is $15. Just let me know and I will
bring them to the meet up tomorrow.
