Looking for a note & picture taker for this Sunday's Big Batch class

Hi Everyone,

 

Hope everyone is doing well so far this year. We have been extremely busy (which is a good thing!) and once we get a little more caught up we’ll be scheduling the next google group meeting, so stay tuned for that announcement!

 

I just wanted to see if anyone is interested in taking (or repeating) David Critchfield’s Big Batch Soap Making class (the last part of our 2-day Soap Making Boot Camp. I would like someone to come to the studio at around 1:45 on Sunday and stay until the class is over (about 5:15). You wouldn’t be a TA, because what I need is someone who can turn David’s handouts into something that looks more like Lori’s handouts.

 

What I would need is someone who understands soapmaking and can follow along with David’s instructions and is a fast typist. You could bring your own laptop (or if you don’t have one you can use the studio laptop) and type detailed instructions that David gives verbally that aren’t in the handouts. We also would need you to take pictures (with your camera or ours) which would also be incorporated into David’s handouts. The ultimate goal would be to have a cohesive, complete set of instructions that could stand alone & be understood without David’s instruction.

 

It would be great if it was someone who wanted the Big Batch information or a review of it. You could sit in on the class for free and we could give $10/hr credit for future classes at the Studio. The second part of this job (which would take place in the next couple of weeks) is incorporating the information and pictures into the existing handouts. You can choose to do this part or not, and we can discuss that later.
