Hello Everyone

It is has been a very long time since we got together. Lori and I
would like to schedule a meeting either Tuesday (7/19) or Wednesday
&7/20) 6 PM at her location. I am interested in trying out her shrink
wrap machine so that is one of the things we will be doing. Hopefully
you can join us. We are trying to pick the day that works best for
everyone so let me know by Friday PM if you are interested in coming
and what day works best for you. This would also be a great time to
bring supplies you may have hanging around to swap and/or giveaway.
So if you got supplies that you are never going to use, bring them.
Someone will sure to have a need for them. Look forward to hearing
from you soon!

Sure, I could certainly do Tuesday.  Anyone have any idea if one of the days is more conducive to crossing the bridge end of day?

Oooh, wonder if we have M&P enthusiasts in the house.  I've somehow acquired a whole bunch of lovely single molds that I don't expect I'll be using.

Thanks for pinging us, Feleciai,

Jen

HI Soapers!

Let’s call it then – since Jen, Janice, Feleciai & I can all make it, let’s do this coming Tuesday, 7/19, 6-8:30 pm. Mark your calendars! And RSVP if you can.

As far as bridge traffic – I think it’s hit & miss. But let’s hope for no traffic! No worries if you’re not here “on time” – we’ll warm up the group for you. And Jen if you want to practice with the shrinkwrap machine too, that’s cool with me.

Very much looking forward to seeing everyone!

Lori J

Ruth- Can you bring one of those boxes you were going to order for your soap? I forget what size it was. It's the baseball card box. I need to find a box that will fit 6 bars for shipping to my stockists and I think that one might do the trick.

Hi everyone,

I have some supplies for sale here that you might be interested in. I have one bag of very large crystals of salt. You can see the information about the original purchase at this link here. While the original price paid for these awesome salts were $87.45 each (plus tax & shipping), we’d be happy to see them leave the studio for $70 each. Let us know if you’re interested & we’ll have the bag here at the studio for you. We would be able to waive tax if you could pay in cash. The boxes are a little beat up, but the salt is untouched & unopened.

The other supply is clear 16 oz Boston Round bottles with lid size 24-410. They come from Silgan Plastics in NY & were purchased in ’05. There are 192 bottles in each box, and we would not be able to sell portions of boxes. The boxes are each 25 inches long, 21 inches wide, & 19 inches high. There are two different types of caps – screw on caps & flip top caps (like for lotions). However, the bottles are a little too big for lotion. They would be great for bath salts or milk baths that could flow smoothly through the cap, or for shower gel (which is what Philosophy uses them for).

Let me know if you’re interested in either supply & I’ll have it here at the studio! Again, please bring cash & exact change if possible.

Thanks!

Cassie

Hey Lori

How much are you charging for the bottles?  Are they glass or plastic?

They are plastic bottles (PET). I'm selling them for $75/box, white lids included. 192 per box. The lids may need to be rinsed/cleaned. But the bottles are in perfect condition.

Hi Feleciai,

How many boxes do you think you might want? I have about 12 & they are in my garage at home. I was going to just bring one box tonight, two at most.

I transported them in a truck & it took 2 trips. If u want more than what's at studio we can swing by my house (2 mins away) after the meeting quickly. That goes for anyone else too.

Check is fine, to The Nova Studio, but I'll have to add tax.

I will probably take them but I have to pay you with a check.  I just want to see what they look like first.
