10:30 AM SF: Cynthia McKinney in Bay Area for May Day
10:30 a.m. at the ILWU headquarters on Fisherman's Wharf (Mason &
Beach). The Port Workers May Day Committee has asked her to address
the ILWU Local 10 members and Port Workers Committee activists before
the march kicks off along the Embarcadero.
From the ILWU headquarters, the march will begin down the
Embarcadero to Justin Herman Plaza.
Sister McKinney will join Cindy Sheehan, Alexander Cockburn,
Danny Glover and other speakers at the noontime rally at
Justin Herman Plaza.
Sister McKinney will next address the Immigrant Rights Rally
at about 5 p.m. at the Civic Center in San Francisco.
Her next stop is a 6 p.m. Immigrant Rights Rally at City Hall
(Frank Ogawa Plaza) in Oakland, where she is scheduled
to address the rally at about 6:30 p.m.
After that -- at around 7:30 p.m. -- Sister McKinney will join the
Port Workers
