DIRECTIONS FROM AVRUM GRATCH
1) The Google map is quite accurate except that the intersection of
Buena Vista and Euclid is not easily identified. The maximally
magnified Mapquest and Yahoo maps are extremely clear, and better
marked. (If you choose the latter two, go the maximal zoomed
representation, since the streets are clearly labeled, and the
orientation easily understood.)
(2) In words, get to the intersection of Cedar and Euclid, take Euclid
north from Cedar and the first right turn will be Buena Vista. (Of
course, the same intersections can be identified if one comes south on
Euclid.)
(3) Go up Buena Vista, past LeRoy, and Buena Vista zigs to the left
and then to the right.
Just after the zig to the right, on the left, is Greenwood Terrace,
which is only one block long.
(4) If you reach La Loma, then you have gone about 30 yards to far.
(5) Our house is in the middle of Greenwood Terrace, and there is a
driveway on the right, with a mailbox on the street end, with the
address 1459 marked.
(6) The driveway is for the handicapped and there are a few parking
spaces at the top.
(7) Otherwise park on the street.
(8) One can walk up the driveway, or on the steps to the left of the
driveway, reached through the garden gate.
(9) Those who know the area can come up Hawthorne Terrace, go north on
LeRoy, which curves into Rose, which intersects with the north end of
Greenwood Terrace. This is pretty clear on the Google map and more so
on the Mapquest and Yahoo maps.
