To the Board and Membership of CaPA,

On behalf of the 12 California medical students who attended the PNHP conference (2-3 Nov, Washington, DC) thanks to the generosity of CaPA, please accept our sincere appreciation.
Below are specific words of thanks culled from the collection of individual emails of appreciation:

“Thanks for much for the awesome opportunity.”

"This conference was SO motivating and inspiring!"

"Thank you very much for your support and consideration in promoting a group of medical students to attend a conference meant to promote, encourage, and illustrate a progessive and positive reformation of a quickly self-destroying healthcare system."

"This weekend was a tremendous opportunity made possible primarily due to CaPA's support and encouragement. It has added more kindling to the fire of student activism in the fight for patient doctor centered health care."

"A wonderful and rare opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals--to share information, experiences, and enthusiasm. It was particularly inspiring to meet so many established physicians who are still so dedicated to this cause and encouraging of our efforts."

"Thank you so much for your support.  I truly appreciate what you have done to give medical students a leadership role in healthcare reform."

"Thank you so much for this great opportunity.  It was a huge success!
California made a great showing and certainly made medical schools
from the rest of the country take note."

Sincerely,
Parker Duncan, MS4/MPH candidate and CaPA Board Officer
