[California Can Collector] Coupons

Hey guys,

So the news here at UCSB this week was the Big West Conference Men's Soccer Championship. UCSB won the semi-final, but got trounced last night. It was a pretty ugly game. UCSB gave up four goals and ended the game with only 9 players on the field due to red cards. UCSB will probably still make the NCAA tournament at-large given there high ranking- if you care to see the selections will be announced tomorrow, Monday, on ESPNews at 5:30PM Eastern Time (2:30 Pacific).

While the game was a disappointment, there was a silver lining. Every student ticket to the game has a 2-for-1 for any item* at McDonald's. Between the two games, I collected about 15 tickets. So from now until expiration (May 2010), I'm sitting pretty whenever I crave a Southern Style Chicken Sandwich (I try to steer clear of the beef):

I also discovered that copious amounts of alcohol are snuck into games (aside from water bottles), so next time** I'm going to have to remember to bring an IKEA bag. So although I had to let the bottles go to waste, I probably made $20 in McDonald's savings (it's up to you to decide what that's worth).
