As you may recall, the Beaver Management Workshop scheduled for July 21-22, 2014 was postponed due to instructor illness. We are happy to announce we have rescheduled the Beaver Management Workshop to October 14-15, 2014. The agenda will be the same as before.
The Klamath Watershed Partnership has teamed up with Dr. Joseph Wheaton, Assistant Professor, Utah State University, for a Beaver Management Workshop - Living and Working with Beavers –
October 14-15, 2014, in Chiloquin, Or. (See attached agenda)
Dr. Wheaton is an Assistant Professor at Utah State University and a fluvial geomorphologist with fifteen years of experience in river restoration.

This two day workshop is intended for landowners, researchers, graduate students, resource managers, restoration practitioners, and others interested in the benefits of beavers in the watershed including the use of beavers for restoring rivers and/or streams. The workshop will be both instructional and in the field at working beaver sites. Participants are encouraged to bring waders or rubber boots for the field portion of the workshop.
