Does your family do anything fun for Valentines day?
What treats or snacks do you serve, and do you send cards?

Everyone spends holidays differently, and Valentines day can mean a
variety of different things. Growing up, my mother's birthday fell on
Valentines day, so not only would we have a party at school, but we
would have lots of fun with heart themed cards and cakes for my mom
(and sometimes rubbery heart shaped pancakes). Valentines day became a
big event for us! Today we homeschool our children, and its more of a
break from the usual work than a big event, but we'll be making themed
cookies and crafts for extra fun!
