their winter is warmer, and they have less extreme weather events, such as

park and Forest lawn..
Edmonton on the other hand limits it to Jasper ave and oh 97th st
and everything north east of that, like over a 1/4 of the city..

The type of place one goes if all else fails.
But Hey, not to get too down on edmonton as I've said in a previous
message, It has better culture by far than calgary and Better
Restaurants.
I'm not originally from calgary either and consider it a place that
has nice mountains nearby and nice parkland and along with the higher
wages and lower taxes probably allows me to take in an easy 75 grand
more in tax a year.
I plan on leaving a few years before the bow river dries up as it's
accross the street from me.
So have at it, who in the right mind would actually choose alberta
as a destination if they're not from here.
After all, home is home.
