Passed legislation to conform with "UN Child's Right Convention"
VILNIUS, March 1, 2004 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The Lithuanian
government led by Prime Minister Algirdas Brazauskas has
accepted a proposal pushed by the international Gay and Lesbian
Association to lower the age of consent for homosexual sex acts
with boys to 14.
The government of the mostly Catholic European country passed
the legislation in line with the "UN Child's Right Convention
Realization Account" and forwarded a copy of the acceptance of
the legislation to the UN Child rights Committee, according to
LifeSiteNews.com sources in Lithuania.

with regard to the age of sexual interrelationship.

Got this from a UN site, seems that when Lithuania got away from the
Evil Red Ways, they made some good steps to protect children's rights.

The Criminal Code provides for criminal liability for the following
crimes connected with the protection of the rights of the child:
n rape of an under-aged girl (Art. 118),
n avoidance to maintain one’s children (Art. 125),
n bringing a child to suicide (Art. 110),
n grievous, serious and trivial bodily injury (Art. 11, 112, 116),
n battering and cruel torture (Art. 119),
n premeditated murder of a new-born baby by mother (Art 107),
n abduction of or changing a child (Art. 127),
n sexual intercourse with a sexually immature person (Art. 120),
n perverting acts (Art. 121).
Then we've got this:
Israel has lowered the age of consent for gay sex from 18 to 16, in
line with that for heterosexuals.
The penal code was changed in July but the move was not publicized
until Nov. 1 when gay activists realized that gay teens were unaware
of the change.
Homosexual relations also were legalized for 14- and 15-year-olds as
long as their sexual partners are not more than three years older than
they are.
Many European nations have a lower age of consent than Israel,
including Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain (12); Germany,
Iceland, Italy, San Marino and Slovenia (14); and the Czech Republic,
Denmark, France, Greece, Poland, Slovakia and Sweden (15), according
to testimony presented to the Knesset by the Association for Civil
Rights in Israel and the Association of Homosexuals and Lesbians.

But in all my looking, I can't find anything to back up LifeSite's
claim about this 14 thing.

Don't be so naive. In case you didn't know .. heterosexuals have sex too. I
know it's a shocker for you but it's not always about "the gays".
Also there is something parents can do ... they be freaking parents. Raise
their kid properly and they won't have to worry about adults seducing their
children.
