[CUA] Planting the Downtown Community Garden - May 29th and 30th!

The Calgary Food Policy Council invites you to the 2nd annual
Calgary Food Policy Council Downtown Community Garden Planting Days!

Help us to transform four planter boxes on Barclay Parade into beautiful and productive urban gardens full of vegetables and edible flowers.  The produce we grow will be donated to food assistance organizations in Calgary. The garden we create together will be a space to celebrate and cultivate a sustainable food future for Calgary!

We'll be planting Saturday and Sunday May 29^th and 30^th starting at 1:00pm, 6^th St SW between 5^th and 6^th Ave SW. Drop by and help contribute to a better Calgary, learn a little about food gardening, and have a great time!

After Sunday planting many will be attending the FREE screening of DIRT! The Movie

I'm sorry, I made a typo, the garden is actually on 3rd Street SW between 5th and 6th Avenue SW. Hope to see lots of you out there!
