Hi!
If you're under 30 thirty (we'll be flexible-youthful energy is the most important thing!) and feel passionately about sustainable and just food in Calgary, you should come to the first meeting of the Calgary Youth Food Policy Council. We'll be meeting on
May 3rd at the
Good Life Bike Shop in Euclaire.
We want to bring youth minds to food issues and bring food issues to youth minds, acting as a vibrant force for change in this city. There are a lot of food groups out there that think and plod through formal pathways, who cater to those with large amounts of money to spend on gourmet local food, but we want to be a force of movement, and we especially want to hear what you want to see, what you want to do!
We aim to create a local food scene that is vibrant, accesible, tasty and sustainable.I hope you'll join us to share your ideas, inspiration, and energy!
- Thanks, Matt
