Joining Calgary Urban Agriculture

I am part of a Vancouver Urban Farming group, and will be leaving and
relocating to Calgary in January 2012. I have been very involved with
all aspects of urban agriculture (food security, farm markets, grants,
sponsorships, government policy), and ran a farm in Richmond for a
number of years successfully. I also teach all over the lower mainland
(marketing, production). I will be moving onto real land (finally) but
want to maintain my urban roots, as I believe urban farming is a noble
profession and will be a factor in healing this planet. Plus the
people rock...
Would love to join this group and establish friendships and contacts
before I land in Alberta. SO looking forward to getting back, despite
the cold. Much better alternative than 10 months of rain.
