Here are the details for our first TransitCamp meeting of the fall:

7 p.m. on Thursday October 13

Good Earth Café 

908 13th Avenue SW--in the new Calgary Public Board of Education building

Routes 2, 6, 7, 13 or LRT

This will be an informal meeting to discuss Peter and William's new blog series and future events.

Hi all,

I'll try to make it but have to work till 8pm. Where will the meeting move when Good Earth closes?

On a side note: The Bow to Bluff Initiative about the Sunnyside LRT corridor is getting off the ground. Their storefront will be open for public sessions from Oct 4-15, 2011; Tues- Thur 4-8pm and Sat 1-5pm. Would that be of interest to Transit Campers?

As background: Bow to Bluff is a citizen initiative to revitalize the public corridor running along the Sunnyside LRT line from the Bow River to McHugh Bluff. In October and November, Bow to Bluff will be holding fun public events and workshops to help citizens create a plan to make the corridor a great public place. With plenty of help from our partners, O2 Urban Planning + Design, Intelligent Futures and the City of Calgary, we're working hard to plan a process that puts Calgarians in the driver's seat. We promise, this won't be your average public engagement process!
