Hi!

A new version of CalenGoo, version 1.5.8, was released. It contains
only a few improvements because it had to be released quite soon after
the last update to fix some bugs.

These are the most important changes:

- Added details button in search view: Tap the row to jump to the
event's date, tap the blue details button to open the event in detail
view

In the result list of the search view, you have two options: You can
tap one of the rows to jump to the day of the selected event. Or you
can now tap the blue arrow at the end of the line to open the detail
view for the selected event.

- Badge menu (choose between events, tasks or the current day for the
badge on the app's icon)

The badge menu was improved, a few new functions were added and it has
been moved to the top level of the settings menu, "Settings", "Badge
on app's icon". You can choose if you would like to have today's date,
the number of remaining events of the current day or the number of
uncompleted tasks on the badge. Additionally you can now choose which
calendars should be taken into account when counting the number of
remaining events.

- Cancel/Save buttons in the edit view can now be swapped

Currently they are ordered as in the iPhone's calendar, but many users
asked for a function to swap them.

- Option to add a new task directly from the calendar view when
tapping the "+" button (see "Settings", "Tasks")

If you turn this function on, you will get a menu asking you if you
want to add an event or a task for the selected date, when tapping the
"+" button. Due to a bug this function does not work on the iPad yet,
sorry! This will be fixed with version 1.5.9.

- Bug fix: The country default for the first day of the week was
computed incorrectly in 1.5.7

Accidentally CalenGoo used Monday as first day of the week (if not
configured otherwise) for all countries. This has been fixed.

- Bug fix for the new migration function

The migration function (to copy events from the iPhone's calendar to a
Google calendar, see "Settings", "Migrate", only visible if
"Settings", "Display and Use", "General", "Show iPhone calendars" is
turned on) forgot to copy the reminders and copied multi-day events
too often. Both should be fixed now.

The next update, 1.5.9, will probably become available in 1-2 weeks.
It will add an option to change the colors of calendars individually
and a function to add reminders to all events of a calendar.
Additionally it will fix an iOS4.2 problem, which is the reason why it
will be released soon and won't contain many new functions.

Kind regards

Dominique
