Hi!
A new version of CalenGoo, version 1.5.9, was released. It contains a
bug fix for iOS4.2 and some additional configuration options for
reminders and calendars:
These are the most important changes:
- Color settings of the calendars can be overridden in CalenGoo
- Default reminders for calendars, i.e. for all events in a calendar
Some configuration options for calendars have been added: You can now
change the color of all calendars (but it won't change the color in
Google Calendar, only in CalenGoo) and you can add reminders to
calendars, i.e. they are used in addition to the event's individual
reminders for all events in a calendar. You can find these options by
tapping the new blue ">" button behind each calendar's name under
"Settings", "Visibility/Download". The reminder feature can be useful
for read-only birthday calendars that couldn't have reminders until
now.
- Installation possible using only the iPhone/iPod/iPad's calendar as
data source
After a fresh installation of CalenGoo you can tap the gear icon in
the lower right corner of the login screen and choose "Use iPhone/iPod/
iPad calendars" to configure CalenGoo to use only the iPhone/iPod/
iPad's calendar instead of syncing with Google Calendar.
- Bug fix: Weekday names were not correctly displayed in the date
picker under iOS4.2
There was a bug in iOS4.2 that resulted in numbers being displayed
instead of weekday names in the date picker. Version 1.5.9 contains a
workaround for this problem.
The next update, 1.5.10, will probably become available at the end of
December. Among other things it will improve the function to copy
contacts into events.
Kind regards
Dominique
