Hi!

A new version of CalenGoo has been released a while ago. An Apple Watch app has been added and the location editor can now search for nearby places and contacts.

These are the most important changes:

- Apple Watch app (to display the upcoming events on the watch face and in an agenda view on the watch).

CalenGoo's Apple Watch app can display upcoming events directly on the watch face. By tapping an event you can open an agenda view. By tapping an event in that agenda view you can see the details of the event. If it has a location a small map is displayed. By tapping the map you can start the navigation to that address. You can find further information here:

- Search function in the location editor (just tap the search icon at the top to search in your contacts and nearby places).

When editing the location of an event you can now tap the search icon at the top of the screen to switch between a simple text editor for the location and a search view that searches your contacts and nearby places.

- 3D touch functions for the app icon.

On new iPhones that support force touch you can now press the CalenGoo icon stronger to get a menu that allows you to directly create a new event or task.

- The sunrise/sunset function now also displays the moon phase.

Under "Settings > Display and Use > Day view > Show sunrise/sunset" you can select "as lines with icons" to get a line with a small sun for the sunrise and another line with a small moon for the sunset. Now the small moon icon also displays the moon phase.

- Easier way to link multiple contacts to an event.

After adding a contact to an event by tapping the action button in the lower left corner and selecting "Insert contact" a new section for linked contacts appears in the edit view which allows you to add multiple contacts to the event. These contacts will also be displayed in the detail view and allow you to quickly open contacts related to an event.

- New Evernote option: "Only due and overdue reminders on current day"

Evernote usually also displays notes with a reminder but without a reminder date on the current day. CalenGoo can do the same but using this option you can hide the notes that have no reminder date.

- A paperclip emoji icon now shows in a reminder if the event has attachments.

When CalenGoo displays pop-up reminders while it is not running, it has to use iOS standard pop-up or banner for this purpose. Because it cannot change the layout of these messages to display icons, at least a paperclicp emoji icon is now included in the text when the event has an attachment.

- In addition to limiting a recurring event by an until date it can now also be limited to a number of instances instead.

So instead of limiting a recurring event to end on e.g. January 15th you can instead specify that it should repeat five times.

- Bug fixes

The next update will add support for the iPad Pro and the Slide Over and Split Screen functions.

Kind regards

Dominique
