Hi!

Recently version 1.5.21 and 1.5.22 of CalenGoo have been released. It now supports iOS reminders, audio attachments and priorities for tasks.

These are the most important changes:

- iOS Reminders can now be displayed and edited in the calendar views. You can enable and configure this under "Settings", "Display and Use", "iOS Reminders". It is also possible to choose a location for a reminder from your previously entered event locations or from a contact by typing the contact's name and choosing it from the list that appears.

iOS has an app called "Reminders" that can be used to create time based or location based reminders. I.e. the reminder will be displayed at the given time or when you reach/leave the given location. CalenGoo can now display and edit these reminders. Please see here for further details:

- Audio attachments are now supported (i.e. you can record a note and attach it to an event so that it is uploaded to Google Drive).

In addition to image and PDF attachments, you can now record audio notes and attach them to events. Please see here for details:

- An improved detail view has been added, that can display the location of the event on a map and a weather forecast for that location and time ("Settings", "Display and Use", "Expert", "Detail view", "New detail view" and "Weather forecast of location").

This new detail view is currently turned off by default but adds some new functions like displaying the location of the event on an embedded map or displaying the weather forecast for that time and date.

- Priorities (1-5) can be assigned to tasks now. Just tap on the empty circle in front of the task list's name in the task edit screen.

The priorities are displayed for each task in the different views and you can sort your tasks by their priority in the tasks view.

- When using the search view, you can now print the results or send them as PDF.

There is a print button in the upper right corner of the search view that allows you to print the found events as a list.

- The week view can now optionally display the days in a single column instead of two columns.

I.e. there are seven boxes for the days of the week in a single vertical row ( "Settings", "Display and Use", "Week view", "Two columns").

- A simple PIN lock screen has been added ("Settings", "Display and Use", "Expert", "General", "Enable/disable PIN lock").

This is a simple security function if you would like to prevent someone from accessing CalenGoo but don't want to lock the whole device.

- A faster agenda view has been added ("Settings", "Display and Use", "All", "Expert/Maintenance" (at the end of the list), "Faster agenda view"), which loads the events in an optimized way and will be used by default in the future.

Especially when displaying the iOS calendars in CalenGoo, the new agenda view should be faster. Just turn it on, it should be just faster, there should be no other differences.

- When editing iOS reminders, the title and notes fields now allow text over multiple lines. Additionally phone numbers and email addresses can be tapped to call them or to write an email.

The iOS reminder edit screen has been improved to automatically resize the title and notes fields to contain more than a line of text when necessary (instead of scrolling the line).

- The agenda print function now supports adding a custom header. You can enter a text that is printed above the days and events. This works also when printing the search results.

The text can be entered under "Settings", "Print", "Custom header text" if the format "Agenda" is selected. It will be printed above the rest of the printout.

- Bug fixes

The next update will add functions to export events as CSV or TXT files.

Additionally the next update will fix a few bugs:

Under iOS 7 the number pad to enter a date doesn't work correctly in some regions (depending on the "Region Format" setting in the "Settings" app under "General", "International"). It displays only a single "y" for the year, so that the year cannot be entered correctly. This is a bug that occurred because iOS 7 returns an unexpected date format (i.e. a date format with only a single "y") for these regions. It will be fixed with the next update, probably in about a week.

CalenGoo now supports Google's default reminders when syncing via OAuth2. I.e. the events use the default reminders that you configured for each calendar on the Google Calendar website. However due to a bug it isn't possible to add further reminders if an OAuth2 event already uses these default reminders. This will be fixed with the next update, too.

Aside from these things it seems to work fine under iOS 7. The next update, 1.5.23, will probably be released in 1-2 weeks.

Kind regards

Dominique
