Hi!

Recently version 1.5.20 of CalenGoo has been released. It now supports floating events and attachments.

These are the most important changes:

- Floating events have been implemented.

Floating events are a combination of tasks and events. They are like a normal event but they have a checkbox to mark them as completed. When CalenGoo finds an uncompleted floating event in the past, it will automatically move it to the current day so that you don't forget to complete it. To use floating events you have to turn "Settings", "Display and Use", "Advanced", "General", "Enable 'Floating events'" on. Then you can mark individual events as floating in the edit view. You can find further information about it here: http://www.calengoo.com/docs/pageedit/styled/pagefloat.html

- You can now attach files to events and sync them via Google Drive.

First you have to enable it under "Settings", "Attachments". Afterward there will be an additional button at the end of the edit view to add attachments. You can open and view attachments from the detail view and the edit view. Attachments can be photos from the camera or the gallery and you can create PDF files from multiple photos (e.g. to create a scan from a document). When you add attachments to an event, CalenGoo will create a folder in Google Drive for that event. But you can also attach other Google Drive folders and files. Please see here for further details: http://www.calengoo.com/docs/pageedit/styled/pageattachments.html

Another option is to just add links to Dropbox files to the description of an event: http://www.calengoo.com/docs/pageedit/styled/pagefiles.html

- The calendars can now be reordered under "Settings", "Visibility/Download", "Sort calendars".

This way you can move important calendars to the top and access them quicker when choosing a calendar e.g. in the event edit screen.

- A sync button can be displayed to the left of the "+" button in the upper right corner (only iPhone/iPod touch: "Settings", "Display and Use", "Advanced", "General", "Sync button to the left of the [+] button")

This way the sync button is always accessible, in all calendar views.

- New snap-in options for new events in the landscape day view:

E.g. when setting "Settings", "Display and Use", "Expert", "Landscape day view (week)", "New events snap in to x minutes" to "45 min (align to previous event)" then new events will be aligned to 45 minute steps beginning from the previous event of that day. This is useful if you assign events in 45 minutes slots and have e.g. a lunch break.

- Bug fixes

The next update will probably improve the tasks functions.

Kind regards

Dominique
