Multiple entries of same event

I initially adopted Calengoo so that the calendar on my Mac would show up on my Android phone. This worked fine for several years. I am now trying again to use Calengoo and find that I have events showing on a particular day more than one time. How do I know with what device Calengoo is syncing: Google calendar, Mac calendar, Android phone? How do I remove all but one event but ensure that that event still shows up on all the devices?

I.e. you can open "Settings > Visibility/Download" in CalenGoo and see by the section headers to which account each calendar belongs to. Then you can hide duplicate or unnecessary calendars.
