Linux Desktop: Can Calengoo sync to my Google account independently from my browser sync settings??

Hi. After I succesfully add a Google account on Calengoo... Will Calengoo be able to sync with my google Calendar independently of the fact that my defaullt browser might not being set up to sync with Google?
