Hi, I want to add details in the form of a pdf document to an event but I get a Java exception.  I've tried screen shot and inserting the pdf into a Libre Office document and each has the same result.
How can I successfully add a document to an event?

Hi,

I am sorry that it doesn't work correctly! Can you please send me your logs or at least the part with the Java exception from your logs?

Open "Settings > System > Show logs" in CalenGoo to open an Explorer/Finder window that shows CalenGoo's logs. Keep that window open. Exit CalenGoo and wait 10 seconds to let it finish writing its logs. Then send me the files "calengoo0.log" and "calengoo1.log" from the Explorer/Finder window.

Thank you very much!

Kind regards

Dominique

Great, thank you Dominique.
I have the files.  How do I upload them?

Hi Alan,

I am sorry, but I have not received any files from your email address. Can you please check if they were sent and if they were sent to the correct address?

Thank you very much!

Kind regards

Dominique

Hi Alan,

thank you, I have found the files in my spam folder now. Sorry, I don't know why they were sent there.

Anyway, I have examined them now but all I can see there are errors that say that your Evernote login has expired. The logs were from February 15th but your first post was from February 13th. Maybe the error was not in the logs because the logs were too new? Did you reproduce the error right before sending the logs?

Kind regards

Dominique

Ah, yes, the Evernote saga.  I did subscribe to Evernote for a while, and then when I discontinued the subscription I'm continually being sent to the Evernote website when I try to perform some tasks in Calengoo.  I wouldn't be at all surprised that it's what causing my problem.
If you don't have any suggestions on how I might sever my relationship with Evernote then I'll hire a good divorce lawyer 😁.  No sorry, that's not what I meant, I'll try and get some help on how to prevent those notifications from continuing.

Hi Alan,

if you don't use Evernote any more, then just deactivate or remove the Evernote account under "Settings > Accounts" in CalenGoo. Then try to attach a PDF file again. If it still doesn't work, please send me the logs right afterward (so that they still contain the error message).

Thank you very much!

Kind regards

Dominique

OK, I've removed the Evernote calendars and I'm not being sent to the Evernote website.
However, I'm still getting the java message when I try to add an attachment.
