unfortunately there is a problem in
the previous beta version, i.e. the version you seem to have already installed.
There I had updated the Apache “commons-io”
library to a new version. Apparently this now unfortunately leads to
CalenGoo blocking its own jar file so that it cannot be replaced by the
new version. Sorry, I didn't expect that!
It actually looked like a harmless change. Anyway, I have now uploaded a new update which uses the old version of the “commons-io” again and thus fixes the problem.
However,
you already have the broken version. To fix the problem and be able to
install updates again, you now need to download the latest version from
https://www.calengoo.com/desktop
and install it over your version. You should then be able to install
updates as normal. And since CalenGoo saves its data in a different
directory than the application, reinstalling should not cause any
further problems and your data should be unchanged afterwards.
Please try this and don't hesitate to contact me again if you have any problems or questions! 🙂
