Empty Task

Sometimes, when I create a new task, Calengoo Desktop saves it with all the fields empty. I don't understand when it happens. Often it works flawlessy.

it happens when "Sync when Start" is activated in "Sync Options"

Happy to hear someone about that. I don't understand the relationship between them. Anyway: do you think it's a bug? Should it be fixed?

Yes think its a bug. Im just a User, im not from Calengoo.

For me its fixed enough that way.

If you activate like 10min sync Intervall and Autostart is activ its quiet ok.

I dont know the relationship. Maybe the when creating the new task and in Background it is syncing, it show after "finish the Task" just the synced Tasks and discard the actual task.

Trying to translate from Italian to English, I have these settings:
-) AutoSync 10 minutes
-) Fast Sync enabled
-) Manual Sync too enabled
-) Push synchs (server reachable, conntected) enabled
-) Synch on startup enabled

When I have the problem, task is created with all fields empty.
It happens one time every many (more or less 1 every 10).

Hi,

thank you for the details about this problem! I was able to reproduce and examine it. It was a problem in how CalenGoo synced with Google Tasks. I think I have fixed it now.

I have uploaded a new beta version. To download it please set "Settings > Update channel" to "Beta". Then try it again with this new version (1009).

Does it work correctly now? 🙂

The change log reports: "Bug fix for creating new tasks while the sync with Google Tasks is running"

Now, it's clear why it happens just one time every N tasks creation, with N quite big!!!

It's hard to test it because it happens only when sync is running. Anyway, I can say that until now, after 10 tries, I had no problem. Let's see next weeks.

Nice side effect: opening Calengoo Desktop suddenly became extremely fast! It always used to take a while before. WOW!
