Windows 11 - Unable to open calengoo

Had to enter some events this morning and received this error. Tried to uninstall and reinstall - same issue.

Hi,

it seems that you had the beta version (which added the "authmethod" field to your database to support Outlook OAuth2 logins) and then you switched back to the official version (which does not know that database field and thus shows an error).

Unfortunately there is no easy way to get back to the beta version now. I will try to create a Windows installer for the beta version for you. I will get back to you here when it is ready (probably in the next few hours).

thank you so much!!! I downloaded calengoo to my new pc so maybe I did something wrong during the install.
Should I uninstall again?

Oh no, LOL.. Okay so calengoo loads up and opens and I can switch between views. I tried to edit an event, when i changed the end time, it froze up but allowed me to click save. When I tried to open that same event OR create a new event, the edit box is now white. I can close it, and then when i try to switch calendar views again, nothing is happening.

...one last thing, when I close the app completely from desktop, and then try to reopen, the whole calengoo screen is white.

Hi,

can you please email me your logs (to des...@calengoo.com ) or take a look at them yourself? 

Open "Settings > System > Show logs" in CalenGoo to open an Explorer/Finder window that shows CalenGoo's logs. Keep that window open. Exit CalenGoo and wait 10 seconds to let it finish writing its logs. Then send me the files "calengoo0.log" and "calengoo1.log" from the Explorer/Finder window.

Hi,

thank you very much! In the logs I could see that CalenGoo/Java has a problem accessing your Direct 3D driver, which means it cannot draw anything anymore afterward. I have changed it now to OpenGL with a fallback to software rendering. I have uploaded a new version (but with the same version number):


Please install it over your existing version and try it again. Does it work correctly now? 🙂
