Reset calendars problem

Using my Windows Calengoo app, I reset my calendars on my computer but am finding that my calendars did not re-download back into Calengoo on my PC,

After the reset I selected Sync, it starts the sync process but no calendar info is downloaded.  I read in a Help document that " Then you will be asked if you would like to sync the last month, the last year or all your calendar data. There you could e.g. choose to sync only the last month (and all future events). "  I never saw this prompt after resetting the Calendars.

Could I please get some assistance with correcting this?

Hi,

please just try to remove and re-add your Google account under "Settings > Accounts" in your Windows Calengoo app. Does that fix it? Are your calendars downloaded correctly again afterward?

Thank you for your response, I think for now, all seems to be well with the exception that I cannot get my Google Contacts to sync to Calengoo.

Thank you for your response.  I went ahead and removed and re-added my Google account but it appears that my calendars on Google Calendar and my calendars on Calengoo are not communicating.  I have made test entries in both calendars and they do not seem to be syncing.  I have checked on each Calendar and confirmed that the calendar the test entry was made on is included in my Calengoo and Google settings.  

What is my next step to troubleshoot this?

Hi,

please open "Settings > Contacts", right click your Google account and select "Re-download all contacts".

Does that fix it? Can you see your contacts in the "Contacts" pane after the sync has finished?

Hi.

Unfortunately, that has not resolved the issue.  I just states "you have no contacts.  You can add an account in the settings and sync contacts,"  

When I check my settings under the Contacts it shows my correct email account.

Hi,

did you maybe not allow CalenGoo to access your contacts? You have to tick the appropriate checkbox when signin in to your Google account. Did you really tick all the permission checkboxes on the Google login webpage when adding your Google account under "Settings > Accounts" in CalenGoo?

Thank you!! That was exactly the problem, I had not approved permissions for my Google Contacts.  Problem solved!

Great! 😊 With the next update a warning will be displayed under "Settings > Contacts" if an account does not have the necessary access permissions, to make it easier to identify such problems. 🙂
