Hi!

A few days ago a new version of CalenGoo for Android, version 1.0.77,
was released. These are the most important changes:

- When saving an event, conflicts can be optionally displayed
("Settings", "Display and Use", "Edit view", "Check for conflicts...")

You can choose which calendars should be checked for conflicts and if
all-day events and "free" events should be taken into account. When
saving a new event afterward and CalenGoo finds one or more
conflicting events, CalenGoo will display a warning and show you the
times and titles of the conflicting events.

- Backup function for local calendars ("Settings", "Display and Use",
"General", "Allow local...", "Backup")

To reduce the risk of loosing data when using local calendars, it is
now possible to let CalenGoo create automatic backups of its database
to your SD card:

- Sort function for the history lists

The menu of the history lists now contains an entry to sort the
entries either alphabetically or chronologically.

- e.g. Holidays or other days can have a different background color
("Settings", "Display and Use", "General", "Change background
color...")

If you would like to have a different background color for holidays,
to better see them e.g. in the month view, you can turn "Settings",
"Display and Use", "General", "Change background color on days where
certain calendars (e.g. holiday calendars) have all-day events" on.
Then you can choose which calendars should be used. On days where
these calendars have all-day events, the background color of that day
will be set to the color of the calendar.

Unfortunately a bug in the current version makes the "Search" function
unusable when this option is enabled. This will be fixed with version
1.0.78 in a few days. So if you use the "Search" function, you should
wait until version 1.0.78 before enabling the "Change background
color..." function.

- Snoozed reminders can be displayed after reboot

Normally they are discarded because they are too old. But now you can
turn "Settings", "Reminders", "Display missed snoozed reminders after
reboot" on to get them displayed instead. This function is only
available if "Settings", "Reminders", "Show pop-up window" is turned
off.

- Bug fixes

If you would like to be informed immediately when an update was
released, you can follow me on Twitter to get a short message when the
update has been uploaded to the Google Play Store: http://www.twitter.com/CalenGooAndroid

This mailing list will be used to explain the new features with more
details than it is possible on Twitter.
